  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • How does The Owl Determine the best Roast for each Coffee She Roasts?
    Research, Research, Research! Trial roasts, which begin at Full City Roast. We have found most of our customers prefer this roast most often. The first time we get a new shipment, the first trial roast is meticulously controlled and all temperatures, speeds and air flows are recorded. We also use the senses. Site for color, Smell for aroma and sound for crack. These items are also recorded on a time scale. We then cool, taste and write notes on the coffees overall characteristics,,, this is where it becomes a matter of imagination... what does this coffee, taste, feel look and smell like? What does the raw bean smell like? What flavors or what sweetness is there or not there? We agree on what flavors and feel the coffee may have or lose and at what point in the roast these characters can come out of the bean. We agree and proceed to our next profile and see if we were right or not or how far off the mark we were based on what the bean has developed into now. We now have two recorded roast profiles. After this tasting session if there is an inkling in any of our minds that it could do better at all no matter how much or little tweaking that bean may need, drum speed, air flow, heat drop or push, we do it! When we agree that the bean has reached its potential, that roast profile is transferred to our sweet American made Roaster and put on "semi" autopilot. The "semi" in auto pilot simply means that the roast master at any time can increase or decrease any parameter at any time and for any duration. which sometimes but does occur based on the actual data at the time of a production roast... sometimes more than others, So quick recap: Tests, Redo, re-taste, and of course, asking customers what they thought!     Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
